St Anthony School Testing Center Benefits

  • All testing and feedback is given within two to four weeks of initial contact.
  • Testing and Evaluation is conducted by a multidisciplinary team of evaluators.

St. Anthony's Testing & Evaluation Process

Psycho-Educational Evaluations from St. Anthony's Evaluation Center include interviews, observations, standardized achievement tests, and intelligence tests.

Prior to Evaluation Day: Parent Questionnaire (parents are asked to complete questionnaires on their child's social, medical, family, and educational histories).

A visit is scheduled to the child's school by our evaluator to observe social and educational interaction in the classroom.

Teacher Questionnaire (the students teacher/teachers are asked to complete a questionnaire on academic and social progress at school.

Evaluation Day: A battery of tests is given to the student that covers intellectual, academic, and perceptual processing. Tests are administered that measure reading, writing, spelling, math, as well as visual and auditory perceptual skills.

Parent Feedback and Conference Day: Testing results are shared with the parents which includes a review and thorough explanation of results. Academic and social implications of the results are presented as well as recommendations and classroom accommodations if needed. Referrals are offered when appropriate.

Follow-Up: At the request and with permission of parents, results are discussed with the school or other professionals. For further information or to schedule a personal consultation, please contact The Saint Anthony School.
