Therapeutic Medical Model

While modern medications for Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety, and Attention Deficit Disorder have proven a boon for many children, it is our contention at St. Anthony's that these medications, should they prove necessary, need to be scrupulously monitored by professionals.

The directors, therapists, and many of our teachers have extensive knowledge regarding medications and their effects. We have worked with some of the country's finest physicians over the years and we know that prescribing medication is as much an art as a science. Careful attention is warranted as to dosage, time of administration, and effect.

Our therapists give accurate and helpful feedback directly to prescribing physicians. We often invite outside therapists and physicians to meet with us at the school to discuss student progress.
