Teacher, Touch-Stone and Compass
Education and experience
I attended Florida State University — GO NOLES! I have more than 18 years experience working with kids with special needs and this year will mark my ninth year with St. Anthonys. In addition to being a staff member during the school year, I have worked with Camp Fire, a co-ed inclusive youth development organization, helping the staff get the summer camps up and running.
What is your favorite thing about teaching at The St. Anthony School?
My favorite thing, by far, is the kids. I learn more from the kids than I could ever teach.
What is your most memorable moment since you've been at St. Anthony?
I’ve been lucky to be part of a lot of firsts at The St. Anthony School: the first sports club, the first competing basketball team, the first bridge program, and the first summer Spartan camp.
What is the one thing you want every parent to know about this school?
I truly believe that, here at The St. Anthony School, we all share a common belief that we are here to help the kids become successful members in their communities. It’s a common goal and we are all committed to it.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love to fish, play disc golf, watch the Dallas Cowboys and travel with my wife.
