Teacher, third and fourth grades
Education and experience
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, along with certification in both Core Subjects Early Childhood-6th grade and Special Education (K-12). I have always loved working with children, and I began working part-time at The St. Anthony School during my college years.
What is your favorite thing about teaching at The St. Anthony School?
My favorite part of teaching at The St. Anthony School is the collaboration I experience between teachers, administrators and counseling professionals. I never feel like I am left to figure something out on my own, and there is always someone around when assistance is needed. We truly have a team approach, where our staff is always working together to provide the best experience for students.
What is your most memorable moment since you've been at St. Anthony?
One of my favorite memories from working at The St. Anthony School has been putting on the Elementary Winter Concert. In the weeks leading up to winter break, we worked with our students to learn Christmas and Hanukah songs. The students performed for family and friends on the last day before break. Seeing the joy and excitement on the students’ faces was so precious! I was proud of these children for memorizing new songs, conquering stage fright, and putting on such a wonderful show!
What is the one thing you want every parent to know about this school?
At The St. Anthony School, you have a team of professionals that is constantly cheering on your child. We are always collaborating to provide the best possible learning environment for our students, and parent input is greatly valued to accomplish this.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends when I’m not working. I love to be active and take my dog on walks around different parks. I also enjoy being creative, making new projects to display around my house and the school.
