TSAS seeks team-oriented individuals with a background and passion to engage students with learning differences.
Applicant must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
2 Years Minimum Classroom Teaching Experience Preferred
An understanding/skills teaching students with Learning Differences, ADD/ADHD, Mood Disorders, and students on the Autism Spectrum
Ability to take initiative, be flexible and “think outside the box”, creative and resilient with engaging students in learning experiences, and problem solve with a dynamic population
Develop weekly individualized lessons plans specific to experiential learning
Possess the ability to deliver traditional and innovative instruction
Confident class management skills required
